NPTE Blueprint Disclaimers

Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Board-Prep Disclaimer for NPTE Blueprint.

Effective date: July 14, 2026. By using NPTE Blueprint you agree to the terms below.

00 Board Prep & Educational Disclaimer

NPTE Blueprint is an independent educational board-preparation tool for physical therapists and physical therapist assistant students preparing for the NPTE licensing exam.

⚠ Educational Purposes Only

The content on this site — including simulated exams, practice questions, flashcards, tutor explanations from Dave the PT, and study analytics — is provided for educational and preparation purposes only.

Independent Product — Not Affiliated with FSBPT

NPTE Blueprint is an independent study product created and owned by Clinicians Blueprint. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, licensed by, or connected to the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy (FSBPT), the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), or any state licensing board in any way. "NPTE" and "National Physical Therapy Examination" are registered trademarks of the FSBPT. We use those names only to describe the examination that our independent materials help you prepare for — this nominative reference does not imply any affiliation with, or endorsement by, FSBPT. The names "NPTE Blueprint" and "Clinicians Blueprint," our branding, and all of our questions, explanations, and study content are our own original work; we do not use FSBPT's logo, and we do not reproduce, license, or copy any real NPTE exam items or FSBPT proprietary materials. We do not predict or guarantee your NPTE results; the Pass Guarantee in Section 05 is a refund policy that applies if you do not pass after meeting its study criteria — it is not a promise or prediction of exam outcomes. Passing the licensing exam depends entirely on your own preparation, knowledge, and exam-day performance.

Not Medical Advice

This tool is not designed for patient treatment, clinical diagnosis, or medical prescription. Any clinical scenarios described within questions are strictly simulated case examples for board preparation.

Testing Simulator Disclaimer

The "Board Exam Simulator" feature offered on NPTE Blueprint is a generic educational layout designed to simulate standardized, computer-based testing mechanics (such as those administered at third-party test centers). This feature serves solely to desensitize candidates to general computerized exam constraints (timers, flat layouts, option lists) and reduce test anxiety. NPTE Blueprint does not use, license, or replicate the proprietary software, trade dress, or copyrighted interface designs of the FSBPT.

01 Terms of Use

Please read these terms carefully before accessing or using the NPTE Blueprint platform.

Acceptance of Terms

NPTE Blueprint is operated by Clinicians Blueprint LLC, an Arizona limited liability company (“Clinicians Blueprint,” “NPTE Blueprint,” “we,” “us,” “the site”). By accessing or using NPTE Blueprint, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the site. We may revise these terms at any time; continued use constitutes acceptance.

Permitted Use
  • Personal study use: You may view, practice, and reference site content solely for your own NPTE preparation.
  • Single-user license: Sharing account credentials, copying practice questions, distributing answers from Dave the PT, or republishing content on other platforms is strictly prohibited.
  • Local data: Your study progress, exam scores, and weak-spot analytics are synced to your browser session and authenticated cloud database.
Prohibited Use
  • No scraping or bulk downloading of our practice question bank.
  • No training of machine learning or AI models on NPTE Blueprint questions, explanations, or site data.
  • No commercial distribution or derivative resale of our hand-authored board-grade materials.

02 Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, and protect your account and study progress data.

What We Collect
  • Account Information: Hashed email, name, and Supabase authentication session tokens.
  • Study Progress: Simulated exam answers, quiz scores, timing data, and weak-spot analytics used to construct your custom dashboard.
  • Payment Info: Handled securely by Stripe; we never store or process credit cards on our own servers.
  • Dave the PT Tutor Logs: Token consumption count to enforce daily limits (contents of chats with Dave the PT are not stored permanently on our backend after the query completes).
Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share email/database identifiers only with our secure subprocessors: Stripe (payments), Supabase (login & progress sync), Cloudflare (hosting & edge network), and Google (Gemini API — Dave the PT tutor and question-quality tooling). Internal operational alerts (sign-ins, sign-ups, purchases, exam completions) are sent to a private team channel on Discord with masked identifiers only (e.g., d***@gmail.com) — never your tutor conversations or study content.

03 Dave the PT (Peer Tutor) Disclosure

Important details regarding the scope, constraints, and guidelines of our explanation assistant, Dave the PT.

🧠 Dave the PT (Peer Tutor)

NPTE Blueprint includes Dave the PT, a board-grade peer tutor built on Google's Gemini language model. Dave is designed to act as an on-demand clinical peer—helping you break down complex questions, identify distractor traps, and clarify reasoning in a supportive, judgment-free way. Dave's explanations are language-model outputs meant to guide and enhance your study sessions.

Limitations & Accuracy: While we continuously refine Dave to align with the exam blueprint, language models can occasionally misinterpret complex scenarios or output inaccurate textbook references. We encourage you to treat Dave as a supportive study partner: always cross-verify key numbers, range-of-motion angles, and contraindications against official textbooks (such as O'Sullivan, Dutton, or Magee) if you spot any inconsistencies.

04 HIPAA & PHI Scope

Our zero-PHI policy guidelines for educational data protection.

Zero PHI Scope

NPTE Blueprint is an educational study site. It does not process, collect, or store Protected Health Information (PHI) under HIPAA. You must never enter real patient names, identifiers, or clinical notes into any search bars, question fields, or prompts with Dave the PT on this site.

05 100% Pass Guarantee Terms

To qualify for a 100% refund under our Pass Guarantee, you must meet the following study and verification criteria prior to your official exam date:

Active Study Requirements
  • Q-Bank Completion: You must answer at least 85% of all active, unique practice questions available in the NPTE Blueprint bank.
  • Mock Exam Baseline: You must complete at least three full-length mock exam attempts (questions may repeat across attempts while the bank grows) with an average score of 70% or higher across your three most recent attempts.
  • Study Plan Completion: You must mark all weeks of your generated study plan as complete.
Verification & Claims

If you meet the above requirements and do not pass the NPTE, email your official FSBPT Candidate Performance Report (the official score report FSBPT issues after the exam) showing a failing result to hello@cliniciansblueprint.com within 30 days of your exam's official release date, sent from the email address on your registered account. Submit the original PDF where available; the full name, email, and exam date on the report must match your NPTE Blueprint account.

How we verify (and why fabricated reports won't work): every claim is checked against your in-app study record — your three mock-exam attempts and your 85% question-bank completion are logged server-side to your account, so a valid claim already requires substantial genuine study that is far more effort than the refund is worth. In addition to matching the report's name, email, and exam date to your account, we may request further verification (for example, the report re-sent from your account email, your FSBPT candidate ID, or confirmation through your FSBPT or state-board account). We reserve the right to decline any refund where the submission cannot be independently verified, appears altered, edited, or fabricated (including AI-generated or manipulated images), or where the study requirements were not genuinely met.

Upon successful verification, we will refund 100% of your payment and extend your premium access free until you pass.

06 Billing, Access & Refunds

How purchases, access periods, and refunds work on NPTE Blueprint.

One-Time Purchase — No Subscription

NPTE Blueprint premium is a one-time purchase that grants access for the term shown at checkout (currently a 6-month or 12-month access plan). It is not a subscription and does not auto-renew — you will not be charged again automatically, and there is nothing to cancel. When your access term ends, premium features simply stop unless you choose to buy again. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details.

Refunds

Except under the 100% Pass Guarantee described in Section 05, or where a refund is required by applicable law, purchases are final. If you believe you were charged in error or have a billing problem, email hello@cliniciansblueprint.com and we will work with you in good faith. Promotional pricing and plan terms may change over time, but changes never affect a purchase you have already made.

07 Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability & Indemnification

The most important protections for both of us. Please read this section carefully.

Service Provided “As Is” — No Warranties

NPTE Blueprint, including all practice questions, mock exams, analytics, score estimates, and Dave the PT, is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. We do not warrant that our content is complete or free of errors, that it reflects the most current standards of practice, or that using it will result in any particular score, a passing result, or licensure. Educational content is not medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will Clinicians Blueprint LLC, its owners, employees, or subprocessors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, study time, exam fees, or career or licensure outcomes, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) NPTE Blueprint — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you; in that case our liability is limited to the smallest amount permitted by law. You use the service, and rely on its content and score estimates, at your own risk.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Clinicians Blueprint LLC and its owners and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable legal costs arising out of your use of the service, your violation of these terms or of any law, your infringement of any third-party right, or any content you submit.

08 Your Privacy Rights & Data Retention

Your controls over the account and study data described in the Privacy Policy (Section 02).

Your Rights & How to Exercise Them

You may access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time. You can delete your account and its associated study data from within the app (Settings → Data & Security), or by emailing hello@cliniciansblueprint.com. Upon deletion we remove your account and study records, except for the minimal information we are required to keep for legal, tax, security, or fraud-prevention purposes. We do not sell your personal information.

Retention, Security & Regional Rights
  • Retention: We keep your account and study data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service; deleted-account data is purged subject to the legal holds noted above.
  • Security: We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards (encryption in transit, hashed identifiers, access controls). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
  • California / EU / UK residents: Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA/CPRA or the GDPR/UK GDPR — including the rights to know, access, correct, delete, and (where applicable) restrict or object to processing, and to not be discriminated against for exercising them. Contact us at the email above to make a request; we will verify and respond as required by law.
  • Children: NPTE Blueprint is a professional board-prep tool intended for adults (18+). It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

09 Eligibility, Governing Law, Disputes & General Terms

Eligibility, how disputes are handled, and standard contract provisions.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that the state and federal courts located in Arizona will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute not resolved informally, and you consent to venue there.

Changes & General Provisions
  • Changes to these terms: We may update these terms; we will post the revised version with a new effective date, and for material changes we will make reasonable efforts to notify you. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
  • Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest of the terms remain in full effect.
  • Entire agreement & no waiver: These terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding NPTE Blueprint; our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.

  • Electronic communications: You consent to receive account and service-related communications from us electronically.
